Birincil kaynağımız olarak Henry Otis Dwight'ın, 'Constantinople and its Problems' kitabını kullandık. This research paper focuses on the lifestyle of the Turkish women of the Ottoman Empire during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Women’s role in all aspects have been researched on, such as their dressing, their public role and their education. We even try to get to the causes of some of the norms, one of which was Islam. We use Henry Otis Dwight’s book, Constantinople and its Problems as a Primary source. However, we use more sources in order to compare the information that was given by Dwight and come to a conclusion.14 pages.TurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikeDwightAvrupaOsmanlıKadınEuropeOttomanWomenFEYZULLAHOĞLU HIST 209-2/3 2017-18Life of women in the Ottoman Empire: A perspective of Henry DwightStudent ProjectSPB2733
