It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 21-22).Bu makalede Kabare tarzı tiyatronun başlıca özellikleri, sergilenme biçimleri, oluşumu, kaynağı, tarihsel değişimi, sosyal, toplumsal ve siyasal etkileri gibi ayrıntılara yer vererek Kabare türünü yakından tanımak amaçlanmıştır. Kabare tiyatrosunun Türkiye’ye gelişinin ve Türkiye’deki gelişiminin anlatılması için Devekuşu Kabare Tiyatrosu ayrıntılı şekilde incelenmiştir. Kabare türünün ülkemizde uğradığı değişime değinilirken bu değişimde etkisi olan sosyal ve siyasi olaylara da yer verilmiştir. Kabare türünün öneminin vurgulanması amacıyla bu türün ülkemizdeki diğer tiyatro türlerinin ve tiyatro seyircilerinin üzerindeki etkisinden bahsedilmiştir. Makalede bahsedilen konuların detaylandırılması ve desteklenmesi için tiyatro sanatçısı Bahadır Tokmak ile yapılan söyleşiye de yer verilmiştir.In this article, it is aimed to help to get to know the Cabaret genre closely by including details such as the main features of the Cabaret style theater, the forms of its exhibition, its formation, origin, and historical change, social and political effects. “Devekuşu Kabare” Theater was examined in detail in order to tell the arrival of the Cabaret style theater’s development and arrival in Turkey. While mentioning the change that the cabaret type has undergone in our country, social and political events that have an impact on this change were also included in the essay. In order to emphasize the importance of the cabaret type, the effects of this genre on other theater types and theater audiences in our country was also mentioned.
