It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 18-19).Şiirleriyle Türk edebiyatında önemli bir yer edinen Abdurrahim Karakoç gerek edebi kişiliği ile gerek dünya görüşü ile pek çok insanı etkiledi. Adeta şiirle ve kitaplarla büyüyen şair, ilk olarak ailesinden ve yaşadığı coğrafyadan etkilendi. Karakoç, henüz çocukluğunda şiire başlamış ve küçüklüğünden itibaren ağırlıkla hiciv türünde eserler vermiş, özellikle sosyal sorunlara değinmiştir. Ayrıca muhafazakâr kimliği ile ön plana çıkan şairin en bilinen eserlerinden biri “Mihriban”dır. Şair “Mihriban” başta olmak üzere pek çok şiiri ile Türk sanatında sağlam bir yer edinmiştir. Karakoç şairlik dışında başka pek çok uğraşla da meşgul olmuştur.Abdurrahim Karakoç who affected many people with his poems and worldviews is an important figure in Turkish literature. While growing up he was surrounded by poetry and books. Further, he was first influenced by his family and the geography he lived in. Karakoç started to write poetry in his childhood and since then, he has written mainly satirical and critical poems. In addition, one of the most known works of the poet, who stands out with his conservative identity, is “Mihriban”. Abdurrahim Karakoç, has gained a firm place in Turkish art with his many poems, especially “Mihriban”.
