It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 16-17).Bu makale, 1940 yılında açılmış ve 1954 yılına kadar eğitim vermiş Köy Enstitülerininin İlköğretmen Okuluna döndükten sonra verdikleri eğitimi, büyük oranda Dicle ve Hasanoğlan Köy Enstitülerinde çalışmış olan Çorapçıoğlu ailesi üzerinden incelemektedir. Ankara yakınlarında bulunan Hasanoğlan Köy Enstitüsü, 1954 yılında Hasanoğlan Atatürk İlköğretmen Okulu'na dönüştükten sonra lojmanda kalarak burada fizik ve matematik öğretmeni olarak çalışan Mehmet ve Belkıs Çorapçıoğlu'nun hayatı üzerinden Köy Enstitüsü ve bu kurumlardaki eğitim olgusu ele alınmaktadır. Aynı zamanda, çiftin Dicle Köy Enstitüsündeki çalışma hayatına ilişkin bilgiler de verilmektedir.This article analyzes village institutes that are active between 1940 and 1954, from the perspective of Çorapçıoğlu family who worked mainly in Dicle and Hasanoğlan Village Institutes. After Hasanoğlan Institute, which is placed near Ankara, turned in to Hasanoğlan İlköğretmen School in 1954, Mehmet and Belkıs Çorapçıoğlu stayed in dorms and worked as Physics and Maths teachers. This article focuses on the education in village institutes on the grounds of Çorapçıoğlu family's experiences.
