It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye siyasetinin karışıklığı içinde kaymakamlık, vali vekilliği, valilik, büyükelçilik ve içişleri bakanlığı yapan Burhan Cahit Bayar’ ın gençlik yılları ve aile yaşamı, eşi ve çocuklarıyla olan ilişkisinin yanı sıra devlet kurumundaki görevleri ve dönemin siyasi sorunları karşısında yaşadığı zorluklar anlatılmıştırTurkey, through the years 1970 and '80s, was in a state in which the governance frequently changed, and political violence was prevalent, especially in the universities. The actions regarding the defenders of the left and right regimes and the counterattacks imposed against them brought about a massive conflict throughout the country. After the 1980 strike, in a Turkey that was trying to get its economic matters together, Burhan Cahit Bayar served in multiple positions in the government, starting from 1963 to 1999.
