It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bu makale, 1989 yılında göç eden Saraç ailesinin anlatıları doğrultusunda olayı analiz edecektir. Ailenin göç sürecinde yaşadığı tecrübeler, zorluklar, ekonomik durumları ve lokasyon seçimleri gibi konular ele alınacaktır. Saraç ailesinin bireyleri ile yapılan röportajlara ek olarak, konu ile ilgili toplanan bir takım ikincil kaynak da kullanılacaktır. Bu projenin amacı 1989 yılında gerçekleşen Bulgaristan – Türkiye göçünü sözlü kaynak yöntemi kullanarak en doğru biçimde yazıya dökmek ve Türkiye tarihi açısından önemini belirtmektir.In 1989, due to the pressure and assimilation policies held by Bulgaria to their Turkish citizens, many Turkish people living in Bulgaria decided to immigrate to their homeland Turkey. This article will analyze the event in line with the narratives of the Saraç family, who migrated to Turkey in 1989. Issues such as the family's experiences, difficulties that they encountered, their economic situations and their location choices during the migration process will be discussed in the project. In addition to the interviews with Saraç family members, a number of secondary sources collected on the subject will also be used.
