It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 15-16).Fethi Gemuhluoğlu 1950-1970 yılları arasında Türkiye'de önemli bir birleştirici güç ve fikir adamı olarak ortaya çıktı. Bu çalışmada Fethi Gemuhluoğlu'nun çocukluğu ve yetiştiği çevre, üniversite hayatı ve yazılarından bahsedildi. Gemuhluoğlu'nun Türkiye'de görev aldığı kurumlar ve etkilediği insanların Türkiye'ye etkisi tartışıldı. Kendisi çok göz önünde bulunmayı istemediği için Türkiye'ye sunduğu ilim, hizmet ve etkilere ışık tutulmaya çalışıldı.Between the years 1950-1970, Fethi Gemuhluoglu has emerged as a major unifying force and an idea man in Turkey. In this study, the childhood of Fethi Gemuhluoglu and his environment, university life, and writings were mentioned. The impact of the institutions in Turkey that Gemuhluoglu has served and the impact of the people he influenced are discussed.
