It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. İlk, orta ve lise eğitimini İstanbul’da tamamlamış, üniversite için ise bir süre Almanya’da yaşamıştır. 1960 döneminde oyunculuğa başlayan Hun, oyunculuğa devam ederken Türk sinemasının krize girdiği bir dönem yaşanmıştır. Bu dönemde oyunculuğa ara veren Hun, eşi Berna Hanım ve kızları Bengü ile birlikte Norveç’e taşınmış, akademik hayatını da burada sürdürmüştür. 1981 yılında Türkiye’ye dönüş yapan Ediz Hun, sanatçılık kariyerine “Acımak” adlı dizide rol alarak kaldığı yerden devam etmiştir. Akademik ve oyunculuk hayatının dışında, siyaset alanında da adını duyduğumuz Ediz Hun, Anavatan Partisi’nde milletvekili olduğu dönemde Ankara’da komisyon başkanlığı yapmıştır. Siyaset alanında başarılı bir figür olarak anılsa da, oyunculuğundan dolayı karşılaştığı önyargılar sonucunda siyaseti bırakmış ve oyunculuk kariyerine devam etmiştir. Günümüzde hala çeşitli dizilerde rol alarak oyunculuk kariyerine devam etmektedir.Ediz Hun, born in Istanbul on 22 November 1940, is one of the most popular actors in the history of Turkish cinema and Yeşilçam. He completed primary, secondary and high school in Istanbul then he lived in Germany for university for a while. Hun started acting in 1960, after acting for a while, a crisis period occurred in Turkish cinema. During this period, Hun, who took a break from acting, moved to Norway with his wife Berna and their daughter Bengu, and he continued his academic life there. Returning to Turkey in 1981, Ediz Hun continued his career by starring in the series ‘’Acımak’’. Apart from his academic and acting life, Ediz Hun was chairman of the commission in Ankara when he was a deputy in the ANAP.
