It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 17).Günümüzde farklı farklı nedenlere bağlı olmak üzere kafeler ve çayevleri ünlenmektedir. Erzurum Dadaş Çayevi kahvesi ve yanında ikram ettiği Ayşegül Şerbeti'nin yanında Ankara Kalesi içinde 80 yıl önce açılıp hala işletilen en eski çayevi olması ile de ünlüdür. Çayevine bir kere uğrandıktan sonra kahvesi, şerbeti ve ortamı için tekrar gitme isteği uyandırması üzerine Erzurum Dadaş Çayevi geçmiş, ekonomik, yerleşke gibi bir çok açıdan ele alınmıştır. Ankara Kalesi'nin ilk yıllarından bugüne kadar dayanan ve Türk Kahve kültürümüzü bir çok yanıyla devam ettiren bu işletmenin başarısındaki püf noktalar, sıkıntılar öğrenilmiştir. Etrafındaki diğer kafe ve çayevi işletmelerinden kendini nasıl öne çıkardığı, kahvesinin neden özgün olduğu gibi konular, geçmiş ve Türk Kültürü ile ilişkilendirildi. Eski ile ilişkileri kurabilmek için bir çok gazete ve kitap taramasının yanında şuanki mekan işletmecisi olan Kadriye Öztürk ve Zeki Öztürk ile röportaj yapılarak bilgi toplandı. 80 yıllık ayakta olan bu çayevinin kendine özgün bir sürü özelliği vardır; işletmeyi sadece karı koca olarak idare etmek, 6 ayda kendi buldukları ve günlük sayılı ürettikleri şerbet ve çayevinde müşterilere sağladıkları eski Türk Kahve kültürünü anımsatan ortamı bu özellikler arasında başta gelenlerdir. Kendine has özellikleri ile Erzurum Dadaş Çayevi yarattıkları farklar ile Kale çevresindeki diğer mekanlardan üstün olan başarılarını gösteriyorlar.Nowadays cafes have been becoming popular due to many different and varient reasons. Besides the cafe's own made coffee and special sherbet Erzurum Dadaş Çayevi is also popular known as an 80 year old oldest cafe managment in Ankara Castle. Leaving you with a wish to visit the place again to taste the coffee, sherbet and the atmosphere, Erzurum Dadaş Çayevi is analyzed through the places history, economy, ground and many more aspects. Because the place has been working since it was first open in Ankara Castle till today, 80 years and it holds traditions from Turkish Culture we have further searched the managments key points to how it is still running and their struggles. How does Erzurum Dadaş Çayevi made itself distinctive from other close cafes has been explained throughly and it is associated with Turkish culture. To make associations we have searched many newspaper articles and books, also cafes owner Kadriye Öztürk and Zeki Öztürk was interviewed to gather further information about the cafes past, struggles, economical state and a few more aspects. This cafe which have been running for 80 years now has many unique traits such as being managed by only a husband and a wife, an organic sherbet which was found by them and is being served with a certain quantity daily and, the environment which resembles old Turkish coffee culture that they provide in the shop is a few leading characteristics of the place.
