It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 26-27).Almanya’ya işçi göçü yıllardır devam eden ve milyonlara iş sağlayıp, Almanya’yı yeni yuvaları haline getirdi. Geride kalan aileler, yaşanan para sıkıntılarıyla birlikte farklı bir kültüre mensup bambaşka bir ülkede yaşama çabası, din, dil ve ırk farklılığı arasında gidip gelmek pek çok Türk bireyin yaşadığı sıkıntılar oldu. Türkiye açısından olumlu karşılanan işçi göçü, Almanya halkının da zamanla Türkleri kalıcı olarak görmesine yol açtı. Farklı ırkların yaşam durağı Almanya, Türklere kapısını açmasıyla aynı ülkede farklı yaşam biçimleriyle hayata ayak uydurmaya başladı. Yazımızda çelik ailesi üzerinden Almanya’ya işçi göçü konusu işlendi. çelik ailesinin hikayesi asırlar öncesine dayanır; 1600lerin Osmanlı’sında padişaha karşı gelip eşkiyalık yapmaya başlayıp, Türk sanatının önemli bir isminin oluşmasına temel hazırladı. Hayatta olan en bilge bireyler Ayşe ve Yahya çelikti. Yetişkinliklerinin büyük bir kısmını ve anne baba olma fırsatını kaçırıp hayatlarını iyileştirmek için Almanya’ya çalışmaya gittiler. çocukları Ayşe çelik’in anne babasıyla kaldı ve yoksulluk dolu bir hayat geçirdiler. Olağanüstü yetenekleri olan dedeleriyle büyüdüler ve hayatın zorluklarıyla başa çıkmayı çok erken yaşta öğrendiler. Almanya’dan döndüklerinde ise Yahya çelik’in belediye başkanı olması ile birlikte küçük bir topluma hayat verme çabası, yapılabilecek hiçbir iyiliğin yeterli olmadığını gösterdi.Labor migration to Germany has been continuing for years and provided to millions of jobs and made Germany a new home. The remaining families, the effort to live in a different country with a different culture, together with the shortage of money problem, to go back and forth between religion, language and racial differences became the troubles experienced by many Turkish individuals. The labor migration that embraced positively by Turkey government let Germany people to see Turkish people as a permanent population of Germany. The life-stop of different races “Germany”, started to adapt to life with different life styles in the same country since it opened its doors to Turkey.In our article, the issue of labor migration to Germany through the Celik family was processed. The story of the Celik family dates back centuries; the formation of an important name of Turkish art has prepared since 1600s Ottoman Empire against the sultan began to bandit. Ayse and Yahya Celik were the most wise individuals alive. They missed a big part of their adulthood and the opportunity to become a parent as they went to Germany to work for improving their lives. Their children were left with Ayşe Celik's parents and they lived a life full of poverty. They grew up with grandparents with extraordinary talents and learned to cope with the difficulties of life at a very early age.
