It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 17-19).Anadolu’da Türklerin gelişiyle görülmeye başlayan Yörük kültürü, günümüze kadar ulaşan önemli bir kültürel mirastır. Enver Yalçın kurduğu müze ile yörük kültürünün korunması ve gelecek nesillere aktarılmasında çaba sarf edenler arasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu makalede Anadolu’daki Yörüklerin tarihine ve yaşadıkları yerlere değinerek bu kültürün korunma uğraşları inceleniyor. Anadolu’da yörüklerin mesken tuttuğu önemli bölgelerden birisi olan ve günümüzde de bu kültürün izlerinin görüldüğü Fethiye’de doğan Enver Yalçın ile röportaj yapıldı. Enver Yalçın’ın baştan aşağı kurmuş olduğu “Enver Yalçın Yörük Müzesi” esas alınarak müzenin kuruluş amacı, bu kültürün önemi ve neden korunması gerektiğine dair düşünce, yorum ve deneyimleri incelendi.The culture of Nomadic tribes in Anatolia (Yörük), is an important cultural heritage that has reached today and was first seen with the arrival of the first Turks to Anatolia. Enver Yalçın has an important role in protecting, and passing this culture on to next generations by setting up his museum. In this article, the efforts to preserve this culture is analyzed by looking at their history and the places they lived in. Enver Yalçın who was born in Fethiye, an important settlement place for these people in which their effects can be seen, was interviewed.
