It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Kampanyaya sebebiyet veren mahkeme kararı 17 Mayıs 1987’de Dayağa Karşı Dayanışma Yürüyüşü’nün düzenlenmesine yol açtı. Yürüyüş ile başlayan bu kampanya, feminist kadınların örgütlenmesi ile çeşitli kampanyalara da sebebiyet vermiştir. Basın hayatına yansıyan ve Türkiye’de feminizme farklı bir bakış açışı kazandıran kampanya günümüzde de kadın hakları savunulmasında etkili olmuştur. Bu araştırmanın amacı ilk olarak Dayağa Karşı Dayanışma Kampanyasının ortaya çıkma sebeplerinin ele alarak örgütlenme sürecinin, kampanya esnasında gerçekleşenleri ve kampanyanın basına yansımasını tanık röportajları, sözlü ve yazılı kaynaklar ile yansıtmak ve kazanımlarından bahsetmektir.After the September 12, 1980 coup, a Solidarity Campaign Against Beating was carried out by feminist Turkish women. The court decision that led to the campaign at the led to the organization of the Solidarity March Against the Beating on May 17, 1987. The campaign, which started with the Solidarity March Against the Beating march, has led to various campaigns with the organization of feminist women. The campaign, which was reflected in the press life and gained a different perspective on feminism in Turkey, has been effective in defending women's rights today.
