It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 17-18).İkinci Dünya Savaşı sonrasında Almanya yıkılan ekonomisini tekrardan ayaklandırmaya, Türkiye ise savaşa girmemiş olmasına rağmen oluşan koşullardan olumsuz etkilenen ekonomisini güçlendirmeye çalışıyordu. Bu amaçlara ulaşabilmek için, Almanya insan gücüne, Türkiye ise işsizlik oranını azaltacak bir çözüme ihtiyaç duyuyordu. İki ülke arasında yapılan işgücü göçüne ilişkin anlaşma tarafların bu amaçlarına ulaşmasına yardımcı olurken, aynı zamanda birçok Türk’ün ve ailelerinin de hayatını değiştiriyordu. Hayatı değişen ailelerden biri de Köktürk Ailesi’ydi. Bu çalışmada Köktürk ailesinin Türkiye’den Almanya’ya göçü, oraya uyum süreçleri ve yerleşmeleri ile ailenin bugünü anlatılmıştır.After World War Two, Germany was trying to raise its overthrown economy and Turkey, even though it did not participate in the war, was trying to strengthen its economy that has been affected badly from the negative circumstances. In order to achieve these goals, Germany needed human force and what Turkey needed was a solution that would decrease the unemployment rates. The agreement made between these two countries which covered the subject of the migration of workers helped Germany and Turkey to achieve their goals and changed lots of Turk family’s lives. One of the families whose lives were changed was Köktürk Family.
