After World War II, Yugoslavia, where the communist regime gained power, was economically weakened as a result of the damages inflicted by the war. The Balkan family also emigrated from Boletin village in Yugoslavia to Manisa in Turkey on October 28, 1960, due to these economic, political, and religious reasons. The family members faced many difficulties during and after the migration. When they first arrived in Turkey, they experienced discrimination, and their adaptation process was troublesome as they were surrounded by people of a different culture and language. From the moment they arrived in Manisa, they worked in various jobs and, after accumulating some savings, established their own order. After setting up their order, some family members improved their language skills and knowledge, acquiring professions. Thanks to their professions, they communicated with many Turks and spread their cultural values.28 pages.TurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/GöçBoletinYugoslavyaTürkiyeManisaGöçmenMakedonyaBalkan ailesiMigrationYugoslaviaImmigrantMacedoniaBalkan familyBoletin’den Manisa’ya bir göç öyküsü: Balkan AilesiStudent ProjectSPB4577
