It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 22).This research paper aims to investigate the history of Kral TV, the first music channel in Turkey. It discusses the development, vision, impacts, and changes made in Turkey on its socio-cultural level. The purpose of this research is to enrich the understanding of the evolution of the pop culture of Turkey in the 1990s as well as to acknowledge the significance of the direction of music industries. It also aims to provide information about how the establishment of a music channel impacted Turkey today.Bu çalışma Kral TV'nin tarihinin araştırılmasını amaçlamaktadır. Kral TV Türkiye'nin ilk müzik kanalıdır. Bu araştırmada Kral TV'nin ülkede oluşturduğu vizyon değişimine ve nasıl bir sosyo kültürel değişime sebep olduğu tartışılmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın bir diğer bize göstermek istediği durum ise pop kültürünün nasıl zenginleştiğini ve 1990'lardan günümüze nasıl bir evrim geçirdiğini ve aynı zamanda ülkenin müzik endüstrisinin nasıl bir yöne saptığının açıklanmasıdır.
