It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Terekeme/Karapapak Türklerinin Türkmençay Antlaşması ile Sulduz şehrine göçmesi ile başlayan süreç, Kars ve Gümrü antlaşmalarının ardından Gürcistan’dan Türkiye’ye gelmeleri ile son bulmuştur. Bu bakımdan Kemaloğlu ailesinin göçü, ailenin Terekeme/Karapapak kimliği çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiş, İran’dan Gürcistan’ın Ahılkelek kentine, ardından Kars ve Muş’a göçleri ele alınmıştır. Bu yazı kapsamında bu göçü tetikleyen sebepler, ailenin yaşadıkları zorluklar, göç ettikleri bölgedeki halkla olan ilişkileri ve göçün ardından yaşantıları incelenmiştir.This article explores the Turkish migration from Georgia between 1920 and 1924 from the perspective of the Kemaloğlu family, who migrated in 1924. The process, starting with the migration of Terekeme/Karapapak Turks to Iran with the Turkmenchay Treaty, ended with their arrival to Turkey from Georgia after the Treaties of Kars and Alexandropol. In this regard, the migration of the Kemaloğlu family was investigated within the framework of the family's Terekeme/Karapapak identity and their migration from Iran, to Akhalkalaki, Georgia, and then to Kars and Muş was studied.
