It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 20-21).Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün miras bıraktığı unsurlar, Türk halkı için derin anlamlar taşıyan unsurlardır. Bu miraslar, sadece eşyalardan değil, aynı zamanda fikirler ve toplumsal miraslardan da oluşmaktadır. Cep saati, otomobiller ve Savarona Yatı gibi somut miraslar, tarihi bir değer taşır ve Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün hayatının ışığını günümüze ve geleceğe yansıtır. Bu yadigârların korunması büyük ve önemli bir sorumluluktur ve Atatürk’e, aynı zamanda onun ilke ve inkılaplarına duyulan saygıyı gösterir. Bu yadigârların muhafazası, Atatürk’ün fikirlerinin ve liderliğinin yaşamasına ve devamına katkı sağlar. Kolektif bir bilinç olan yadigârların korunma isteği, tarihin devamını başarılı bir biçimde etkiler çünkü bu miras Türk halkının bağımsızlığını ve Cumhuriyet’i temsil eder.The elements that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk inherited are elements that have deep meaning for the Turkish people. These legacies include not only objects but also ideas and social legacies. Tangible heritages such as pocket watches, automobiles and Savarona Yacht have historical value and reflect a light of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's life to the present and the future. Preserving these heirlooms is a great and important responsibility and shows the respect for Atatürk, his principles and reforms. Preservation of these heirlooms contributes to the survival and continuation of Atatürk's ideas and leadership.
