It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Denizli’de bulunan ve hala aktif olarak eğitim vermeye devam eden Pamukkale Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Türkiye’de kurulan 32. tıp fakültesidir. İlk etapta 1987 yılında İzmir’de 9 Eylül Üniversitesi’ne bağlı olarak kurulup 1992 yılında resmi olarak Denizli’de kurulan bu fakülte çok kısa bir sürede gelişip Ege Bölgesi’nde ve Türkiye’de sağlık hizmeti ihtiyaçlarını karşılamıştır. Öğrenciler ilk Denizli’de eğitime alındıklarında 15 öğretim üyesi ile 36 öğrenciye sahip olan bu fakültenin 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılı itibariyle 105 profesör, 48 doçent, 97 doktor öğretim üyesi, toplam 250 akademik personeli ve 1399 kayıtlı öğrencisi bulunmaktadır. Bulunduğu Ege Bölgesi’nde, en köklü tıp eğitimlerinden birini veren ve Türk tıbbında birçok katkıda bulunmuş olan Pamukkale Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nin tarihçesi, gelişimi, değişimi araştırmanın konusu olacaktır.Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, located in Denizli and still actively providing education is the 32nd Faculty of Medicine established in Turkey. Being initially established in 1987 under the 9 Eylül University in İzmir, and then being established formally in Denizli in 1992, this faculty has been providing health care in the Aegean Region and Turkey. Having been opened to its first academic year in Denizli with 15 assistant professors and 36 students in 1992, the Faculty of Medicine now has 105 professors, 48 associate professors and 97 assistant professors, in total, the academic staff of 250, and 1399 registered students.
