It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 15-16).Mehmet Doğan Cüceloğlu 9 Şubat 1938 yılında Mersin'in Silifke ilçesinde doğmuştur. İstanbul Üniversitesi'nde psikoloji bölümünden mezun olduktan sonra doktora eğitimi almak için Amerika’ya gitmiş ve burada Illinois Üniversitesinde dil psikolojisi üzerine çalışmalar yapmıştır. Eğitimini tamamladıktan sonra Türkiye’de birkaç yıl çalışıp Amerika’ya tekrar gitmiş, akademisyenlikten emekli olduktan sonra belirlediği hedefleri gerçekleştirmek adına Türkiye’ye tekrar dönmüştür. Birikimiyle halka hitap etmek adına kişisel gelişim kitapları yazmış, televizyon programlarına katılmış ve seminerler vermiştir. Türk aile yapısı üzerine gözlemleriyle çocuk gelişimi üzerinde farkındalık oluşturmuştur.Mehmet Doğan Cüceloğlu was born on February 9, 1938 in Silifke, Mersin. After graduating from the psychology department at Istanbul University, he went to the United States for his doctorate education and studied language psychology at the University of Illinois there. After completing his education, he worked in Turkey for a few years and went to America again, and after retiring from academics, he returned to Turkey to achieve the goals he set. He wrote many personal development books, participated in television programs, and gave seminars in order to appeal to the public with his experience in his field.
