It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Günümüzde İşbir Holding geldiği noktada iştirakleri aracılığıyla sentetik, sünger, yatak, optik, ziraat ve enerji gibi çeşitli sektörlerde faaliyetlerine devam etmektedir. 1990’ların başında kalite ve yönetim eksikliği sebebiyle ekonomik zorluklar yaşayan İşbir Holding, Metin Gültepe’nin önce Genel Müdürlük daha sonra da CEO’luk görevlerine getirilmesiyle birlikte faaliyet gösterdiği sektörlerde söz sahibi olmaya başlamıştır. Makalemizde İşbir Holding hakkında genel bilgiler verildikten sonra kuruluşundan bugüne kadar olan gelişimi ekonomik açıdan değerlendirilmiş ve bu süreçte karşılaştığı krizleri nasıl atlattığı incelenmiştir. Ayrıca bulunduğu sektörlerde öncü olmasını sağlayan inovasyonlardan bahsedilmiştir. Araştırmamızda Metin Gültepe ile yapılan röportajdan da yararlanılmıştır.İşbir Holding was established in Balıkesir in 1968 with a limited capital by an entity with domestic and foreign partners. Today, İşbir Holding continues its activities in various sectors such as synthetic, sponge, mattress, optics, agriculture and energy through its subsidiaries. Having faced economic difficulties due to the lack of quality and management in the early 1990s, İşbir Holding began to have a say in the sectors it operates in when Metin Gültepe became the CEO. In our article, after giving general information about İşbir Holding, its economic development from its establishment until today was evaluated and how the holding overcame the crises it faced in this process was examined. In addition, innovations that enable the holding to be a pioneer in the sectors that it is in were mentioned.
