It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 19-20).Makalemizde 1938-1943 yıllarında gerçekleşen Ressamların Yurt Gezileri'ni inceledik. Atatürk'ün isteği üzerine, Anadolu ve resim sanatını tanıştırmak amacı taşıyan geziler, altı yıl boyunca altı kere düzenlenmiş ve sonunda Anadolu'nun ele alındığı 675 eser resmedilmiştir. Günümüz Türk resim sanatını etkilemiş olan Ressamların Yurt Gezileri'ni konu alan makalemizde, Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi'ni, hareketin başlangıcını, hareket süresince ve sonucunda olanları ve bu harekete benzeyen, yakın tarihte gerçekleşmiş birkaç projeyi inceledik. Çalışmamızda birincil kaynak olarak sözlü kaynaklardan ve dönemin gazete haberlerinden yararlanırken, hareket hakkında yazılmış dergi yayınlarından ve tezlerden yararlandık.In our article, we analyzed the Painter's Homeland Tours that took place between 1938 and 1943. At the request of Atatürk, tours aiming to introduce Anatolia and painting art were organized six times in six years and in the end 675 work of art were painted. In our article about Painter's Homeland Tours which influenced today's Turkish painting art, we analyzed Early Republican Period, the beginning of the movement, what happened during and after the movement and a couple of projects similar to this movement.
