It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Dünya Savaşı itibariyle İsviçre’ye olan göçler, 1950-1960 yıllarında Türkiye’den İsviçre’ye göç eden İlim Ailesi’nin tecrübeleri üzerinden ele alınacak ve bu hareketliliğin Türkiye’ye, İsviçre’ye ve göç eden insanlara olan etkileri incelenecektir. İlk bölümde, Türkiye’den yapılan göçler ele alınacak ve İsviçre’nin göç alma sebeplerine genel olarak değinilecektir. İkinci bölümde ise Türkiye’den gerçekleştirilen göçlerin ülkelere olan dağılımdan yola çıkılarak, İsviçre ve en çok göç alan ülkelerden birisi olan Almanya arası farklılıklardan bahsedilecek ve karşılaştırılacaktır. Son bölümde ise röportaj yapılan İlim ailesinin edindikleri olumlu ve olumsuz tecrübeler aktarılacaktır.In this article, Immigration to Switzerland as of World War II will be handled through the experiences of the İlim family, who migrated from Turkey to Switzerland between 1950- 1960, and the effects of these migrations on Turkey, Switzerland and the people who migrated will be examined. In the first part, immigration from Turkey will be discussed and the reasons for immigrations to Switzerland will be discussed in general. In the second part, the differences between Switzerland and Germany, which is one of the countries that receive the most immigration, will be discussed and compared based on the distribution of migrations from Turkey to other countries.
