It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 15).Rock müzik, 1950’lerden günümüze gelen ve popülaritesini hiç kaybetmeyen bir müzik dalı olarak var olmuştur. Rock müziğin doğduğu yıllarda medyanın ana organı olan radyolar bu türün tanınmasını kolaylaştırmıştır. Türkiye, Rock müzikle 1960’ların başında Rock müzisyenler vasıtasıyla tanıştı. Ülkenin Rock müziğine karşı olumsuz tutumu nedeniyle 1990’larda özel radyolar kurulana kadar Rock müzik ancak kasetlerden ve plaklardan ulaşılabilen bir müzik türüydü. 1993 yılında kurulan, Hicri Bozdağ’ın yapımcılığını üstlenip sunduğu ve Türkiye’nin ilk Rock radyo programlarından olan Rock Station; o günden bugüne yayın hayatını sürdürmektedir. Her yaştan ve birçok ülkeden dinleyici kitlesine sahip ve 2022’de otuzuncu yılını kutlayacak olan Rock Station, Türk Rock radyo tarihinin önemli yapı taşlarından birisi haline gelmiştir.Rock music has existed since the 1950s as a branch of music that has never lost its popularity. Radios, which were the main organs of the media in the years when Rock music was born, took a critical role in the recognition of this genre. Turkey met with Rock music in the early 1960s through rock musicians. Rock music was a type of music that could only be accessed from cassettes and records until private radios were established in the 1990s due to the country's negative attitude towards Rock music. Rock Station which was founded in 1993, produced and presented by Hicri Bozdağ and one of Turkey's first Rock radio programs; has been broadcasted since then.
