It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 25-27).Türkiye'deki insanların büyük çoğunluğu tarafından tanınan Hamdi Alkan, Türk sinema ve dizi sektörüne katkılarıyla bilinmektedir. Bu projenin amacı, Hamdi Alkan'ın hayatını 1967'den günümüze değin çocukluğu, gençliği, eğitim geçmişi, tiyatro deneyimi, dizi/sinema sektöründeki deneyimleri üzerinden ayrıntıları ile açıklamaktır. Ülkemizde özellikle bahsedilen dönem aralığında sinema ve televizyon sektörüne önemli katkılarda bulunan sanatçının hayatının, magazinel yaşamını dışlayarak kronolojik bir biçimde anlatılması hedeflenmektedir. Bu incelemelerde birincil kaynak olarak kişinin kendisi ve eşi ile yapılan röportajlar, kişinin kendisine ait olan fotoğraflar, Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Oyuncuları'ndan dönem arkadaşı ile yapılan röportajlar ve afişler kullanılmıştır. Daha temel bilgiler için ise internet üzerindeki sinematografisi ve gazete küpürlerine verdiği röportajlar ise ikincil kaynak olarak kullanılmıştır. Çalışma boyunca tiyatro hayatına geniş bir şekilde yer verilmiş, daha sonra tiyatro sayesinde başlayan televizyon ve sinema sektöründeki deneyimlerine detaylıca değinilmiştir. Son olarak çocukluğundan bugüne zamanın siyasi faktörlerinin, sanatçının hobilerinin, özel hayatının ve birbiri ile doğru orantılı olarak gelişen sanat hayatındaki tecrübelerinin bugün önemli bir sanatçı olarak sayılmasına katkıları incelenmiştir.Hamdi Alkan, who is known by the large majority of people in Turkey, has many contributions to the Turkish cinema and series. Aim of this project is to explain the details of the Hamdi Alkan's life and his childhood, youth, educational background, theatre experience, on camera and behind the camera activities from 1967 to present. It aims to exclude his magazinish life and chronologically narrate the artist life that takes an important place in Turkish television and cinema sector, which is one of the building blocks for the country. This article includes an interview with the artist himself, his wife, his colleague from the Yıldız Teknik University. Also, the bill-postings used as primary source. For the more specific and superficial information, the interviews in press clippings and cinematography on internet is used as subsidiary source. In this article, wide coverage has been given to his theater background thereafter mentioning and examining his experience in cinema and television sector which has started with theatre.
