It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 17).Yönetmenliğini çetin İnanç’ın, başrolünü Cüneyt Arkın’ın üstlendiği 1982 yapımı Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam filmi büyük bir kitle tarafından başarısız bulunmasına rağmen kült film kategorisinde yerini almış bir eser. Dönemin şartları nedeniyle, çekimleri sırasında finansal yetersizlik ve sansür gibi birçok olumsuzlukla karşılaşan Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam, bazı komik ve absürt sahnelerle adından söz ettirse de, yönetmen çetin İnanç filmin aslında çeşitli mesajlar içerdiğini, bu mesajların dünyadaki din savaşlarıyla ilgili olduğunu savunuyor.The movie Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam that is directed by çetin İnanç and starring Cüneyt Arkın is a cult movie although it has found unsuccessful by some people. During shoots, because of the conditions of the period, the movie faced some challenges like financial incapability and censorship.
