It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Açılma sürecinde yaşanan sıkıntılar ve gelişmeler ele alınır. Faaliyete geçtikten sonra çok defa kapatılan ve yeniden çalıştırılan Orhaneli Termik Santralinin kapatılma sebepleri, çalışma ortamı hakkında bilgi verilir. Devletin özelleştirme kararıyla ihale sürecine giren bu santralin özelleştirilmede neden sıkıntı yaşadığı ve bu sorunun nasıl çözüldüğü anlatılır. Orhaneli Termik Santralinin geçirdiği süreçlerin yanı sıra bu santralin insan sağlığına, çevreye, bu bölgenin ekonomisine etkisinden; siyasi ve demografik etkilerinden bahsedilir. The problems and developments experienced during the opening process are discussed. Information is given about the reasons for the closure and the working environment of the Orhaneli Thermal Power Plant, which was shut down and restarted many times after it became operational. It is explained why this power plant, which entered the tender process with the government's decision to privatize, had difficulties in privatization and how this problem was solved. In addition to the processes that Orhaneli Thermal Power Plant has gone through, the impact of this power plant on human health, the environment and the economy of this region; Its political and demographic effects are mentioned.
