It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 17-18).Eskişehir’in Alpu ilçesine bağlı Güroluk Köyü 1899-1920 tarihlerinde Anadolu’ya göç eden Kırım Tatarları tarafından kurulmuştur. Güroluk modern zamanlarda kurulmuş olan az sayıdaki köylerdendir. Güroluk’un ismi ve resmi statüsü birçok kez değişmiştir. Esas olarak tarım ve hayvancılıkla geçinilen köyde, değişen koşullar yüzünden zaman içinde ekonomik ve sosyal hayatın dönüşümüyle ve özellikle eğitimle nüfus azalmıştır. Ancak yine de özellikle köye yakın şehirlerde yaşayanlar tatiller ve hafta sonlarında köye giderek oradaki kültürel yaşamı canlı tutmaya çalışmaktadırlar. Bu araştırma yazısı Güroluk köyünün coğrafi konumu, kuruluşu ve resmi statüsü, nüfusu, kültürel yapısı, geçim kaynakları, eğitim durumu, şehre göç vermesi ve günümüzde Güroluk köyü gibi konuları ele almaktadır.Güroluk Village in the Alpu District of Eskişehir was founded by the Crimean Tatars who migrated to Ottoman-Era Anatolia. Güroluk Village is one of the villages that was formed in modern times. Name and the statute of the Güroluk Village has changed many times. Agriculture and husbandry were essential main stays of the Güroluk Village, however, due to change in economic and social life, especially in education, the population of the Güroluk Village decreased. However, especially people who live close to the village, try to maintain their culture by visiting the village on weekends or holidays.
