It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 14-15).18 Ocak 1897’de doğan Bedia Muvahhit, 1923’te Halide Edip Adıvar’ın aynı eserinden uyarlanan Ateşten Gömlek ile sinemaya başlamıştır. 1924’te de İbnürrefik Ahmed Nu-ri’nin Ceza Kanunu adlı eseriyle ilk defa sahneye çıkmıştır. Yıllar içerisinde Türkiye’de ve yurt dışında, yerli ve yabancı tiyatro oyunlarında yer almıştır. Sanat hayatı boyunca 200’den fazla sayıda eser içerisinde yer alan Bedia Muvahhit 1975 yılında Şehir Tiyatroları’ndan emekli olmuş ve 1987 yılında Devlet Sanatçısı unvanını almıştır. 20 Ocak 1994 tarihinde vefat etmiştir.Bedia Muvahhit, born on January 18, 1897, started cinema with Ateşten Gömlek, which was adapted from the same work of Halide Edip Adıvar, in 1923. In 1924, she appeared on the stage for the first time with Ibnürrefik Ahmed Nu-ri's Penal Code. Years in Turkey and abroad, has been involved in domestic and foreign theater. Bedia Muvahhit, who took part in more than 200 works throughout his artistic life, retired from the City Theaters in 1975 and received the title of State Artist in 1987.
