Meskhetian Turks are a community that was exiled from the Meskhetian region in Georgia in 1944. In this process, many people lost their lives both in World War II and during the exile.. The people who were deported from their own regions to regions such as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the 1944 exile were subjected to discrimination from time to time in these lands.
