It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 16-17).Bu makalede Bulgaristan’dan Türkiye’ye göç etmiş bir ailenin kızı olan Aysel Özgür’ün Türkiye’ye getirilme sürecini araştırıldı ve 1987 ve 1988 yılları arasında yaşanmış bu olay sonuçlarıyla beraber tartışıldı. Aysel Özgür, Bulgaristan’da yaşayan bir Türk ailesinin kızıdır. Bulgaristan’ın orada yaşayan Türklere uyguladığı baskıdan kaçmak için Türkiye’ye göç eden Özgür ailesi, Türkiye ve Bulgaristan arasındaki siyasi anlaşmalar gereği kızları Aysel’i Bulgaristan’da bırakmak zorunda kaldı. Bu olay TRT tarafından çekilen “Yeniden Doğmak” dizisine konu olup kamuoyunun ilgisini çekerek dönemin Türkiye’sinin dış ve iç politikasını etkiledi. Aysel’in getirilmesi için birçok adım atıldı. Bulgaristan Hükümeti dizinin kaldırılmasını şart koşarak Aysel Özgür’ün Türkiye’ye iadesini kabul etti.This article investigates the bringing process of the daughter of a family immigrated to Turkey, Aysel Özgür, to Turkey from Bulgaria. The place of this event, occurred in 1987 and 1988, was discussed with its consequences. Aysel Özgür is the daughter of a Turkish family living in Bulgaria. To escape the pressure applied to the Turks living there, Özgür family who migrated to Turkey, had to leave their daughter in Bulgaria because of the political agreements between Turkey and Bulgaria. By being the subject of the series “Yeniden Doğmak” filmed by TRT, this event attracted the attention of the public and affected the foreign and domestic policy of the Turkey of that period. Many actions were taken to bring Aysel back.
