It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Resimlerinde dışavurumculuğu benimseyen sanatçı, Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi’nde eğitim almıştır, Paris ve Amerika’da da sanat çalışmalarını sürdürmüştür. Hem eleştirel üslubuyla hem de eğitimci kişiliğiyle Türkiye sanatına katkılar sunan Güleryüz, 2024 yılında hayatını kaybetmiştir.This study examines the life and contributions of Mehmet Güleryüz who is an influential figure in Turkish art. Mehmet Güleryüz, who was born in 1938, was an important artisg who shaped his artistic career in painting and theater. Embracing expressionism in his paintings, he studied at the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts and continued his works in Paris and the United States.
