It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 20-21).Bu proje kapsamında, Türkiye’de İslamcılığa yön veren ve üstünde birçok çalışma yapan Ercüment Özkan’ın yayımladığı İktibas dergisi, Özkan’ın Türkiye’de İslami düşünceye katkıları, dönemin sosyo-politik altyapısı, Özkan’ın düşüncelerinin oluşma süreci, bu düşüncelerin hangi olaylardan ve kaynaklardan etkilendiği, Özkan’ın belirli bir dönem üyesi olduğu Hizbu’t-tahrir Örgütü ve Özkan’ın buradaki süreci araştırılacaktır. Aynı zamanda Özkan’ın tasavvufa bakış açısına, politik ve teolojik terimleri nasıl yorumladığına değinilecektir. Özkan’ın Çağdaş Müslüman düşüncedeki yeri ve Radikal İslami düşünce önemi incelenecektir.Within the scope of this project, İktibas magazine published by Ercüment Özkan, who guided Islamism and made many studies on it, Özkan's contributions to Islam, the socio- political infrastructure of the period, the formation process of Özkan's ideas, which events and sources created these ideas, the effects of Hizbut-Tahrir Organization which Özkan was a member for a certain period, and the period of Özkan's membership in here will be investigated. Moreover, Özkan's perspective on Sufism and how he interprets political and theological terms will be discussed.
