It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 17).Rıfat Ilgaz, Türkiye’de mizah ile eleştiriyi aynı çatı altında birleştiren usta yazarlardan birisidir. Kendisinin Türk Edebiyatı’ndaki yeri göz ardı edilemeyecek kadar büyüktür bu sebeple yazdıkları ve örnek alınacak hayatı ile kendisini takip eden kitleye yaşamı ve ölümünden sonra bile örnek olmuştur. Kendisi sadece Türkiye’de değil dünya çapında tanınan, birden çok türde eser veren bir yazardır. Rıfat Ilgaz’ın çocukları ise günümüzde, babalarının anısını yaşatmak için çabalıyor aynı zamanda edebiyatımıza katkıda bulunmaya devam ediyorlar. Bu çalışmada, Rıfat Ilgaz’ın yasaklardan önceki hayatı, yasaklardan sonra hayatının nasıl şekillendiği, Türk Edebiyatı’na olan katkıları çalışılmıştır.Rıfat Ilgaz who combines the criticism with humor under the same roof is one of the master authors in Turkey. His literal position in Turkish Literature is too significant to overlook so that his works and his exemplary life have served as a model through his life and even after his death for masses who have followed him. He is not only significant in Turkey but also he is known worldwide and he contributed in more than one genre of books. The children of Rıfat Ilgaz, today, are trying to keep their father’s legacy alive, at the same time, they continue contributing to our literature.
