It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Arif Alp'in girişimci çabaları Türkiye'nin otomotiv endüstrisinin temellerini atarken, Sedat Alp'in akademik çalışmaları başta Hititler olmak üzere eski uygarlıklara dair anlayışımızı zenginleştirmiştir. Profesyonel başarılarının ötesinde, her ikisi de ailelerine maddi ve manevi yönden miraslar bırakarak dayanıklılık, kararlılık ve aile ilişkilerinin önemi üzerine değerli dersler vermişlerdir. Farklı koşullarla karşı karşıya olmalarına rağmen, yaşamları ideallerine sarsılmaz bağlılıklarını ve Türk toplumu üzerindeki kalıcı etkilerini örneklemektedir. Mükemmelliğe adanmışlıkları ve ailelerine bağlılıkları sayesinde gelecek nesiller için ilham kaynağı olmaktadırlar. Türkiye endüstriyel ve akademik olarak ilerlemeye devam ederken, Arif ve Sedat Alp'in katkıları vizyon, azim ve mirasın gücünün kalıcı kanıtları olarak durmaktadır.This study analyses the profound contributions of two important figures, Arif Alp and Sedat Alp, both to their families and to Turkish society. Arif Alp's entrepreneurial efforts laid the foundations of Turkey's automotive industry, while Sedat Alp's academic work enriched our understanding of ancient civilizations, particularly the Hittites. Beyond their professional chievements, both men left their families with material and sentimental legacies, providing valuable lessons in resilience, determination and the importance of family relationships. Although they faced different circumstances, their lives exemplify their unwavering commitment to their ideals and their lasting impact on Turkish society. Through their dedication to excellence and commitment to their families, they are an inspiration to future generations.
