It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. The Ankaray metro line was the first underground railway project constructed in Ankara. Before this metro existed, the public transportation system consisted solely of buses. Construction of the metro began in 1992, and it first became operational in 1996. Ankaray passes through the city center and provides an alternative way to connect important locations around the city. Although it increases connectivity and improves transportation, this project came at a high cost. This research paper will evaluate the Ankaray metro’s impact on students’ lives. Bu araştırma yazısı, Ankaray metrosunun öğrencilerin yaşamına etkisini değerlendirecek.22 pagesEnglishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikeAnkarayMetroTransportationBusStudentTaşımaOtobüsÖğrenciWas the Ankaray metro the correct transportation solution for students?Student ProjectSPB4231
