It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 16-17).1980’lerin ortalarına kadar sivil havacılık konusunda diğer gelişmiş ülkelerle karşılaştırıldığında geride kalan Türk Sivil Havacılığı 1986’dan itibaren köklü değişimler yaşamıştır. Özel sektöre hava taşımacılığı ve havaalanı işletmeciliği yapabilme hakkı verilmesi sonucu oluşan nitelikli personel açığını kapatma amacıyla kurulan Anadolu Üniversitesi Sivil Havacılık Yüksekokulu beraberinde ülkenin sivil havacılık sektörünü derinden etkileyecek değişimlerin başlangıcına yol açmıştır. Bu yazıda, okulun kurucu üyelerinden olan Prof. Dr. Mustafa Cavcar’ın ve grubun elinde bulunan arşivlerin yardımlarıyla Anadolu Üniversitesi Sivil Havacılık Yüksekokulu’nun kuruluş amacı, kuruluş süreci ve sonrasında yaşadıkları ele alınmıştır.Relatively behind compared to the other countries in terms of civil aviation until the mid 1980’s, the Turkish Civil Aviation experienced some radical changes from 1986 and onwards. Anadolu University School of Civil Aviation, which was established with the goal of solving the problem of qualified personnel shortage that resulted from giving the private sector the right to operate air transportation and airport management, has led to the beginning of changes that deeply affected the civil aviation sector of the country.
