It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 16-19).Türkiye Kalite Derneği (KalDer) kalite bilinci gelişmiş bir toplum oluşturmak adına 1991 yılında kurulmuştur. İş dünyasına yönetim kalitesi konusunda yol gösterici olmak ve kurumların rekabet altyapılarını güçlendirmeleri için uygun ortamlar yaratmak misyonuyla yola çıkan derneğin, hedeflerini başarma yolunda izlediği bazı stratejik işbirlikleri bulunmaktadır. KalDer ve TÜSİAD İşbirliği (1993) ve KalDer ve Avrupa Kalite Yönetimi vakfı (EFQM) İşbirliği (1993) bu stratejilere örnektir. Bunun yanında KalDer, insan yaşamının her alanına kalite faktörünü yayma amacı ile 1998 yılından beri Ulusal Kalite Hareketi gibi faaliyetlerde bulunurken bünyesinde kalite esaslı eğitimler düzenlemeye başlayıp çeşitli kitaplar ve dergiler çıkarmıştır. Türkiye Kalite Derneği, günümüzde halen aktifliğini koruyor.The Turkish Quality Association (KalDer) was established in 1991 with the aim of creating a society with an advanced quality consciousness. The association embarked on its mission to guide the business world in terms of management quality and create suitable environments for strengthening the competitive infrastructure of organizations. In pursuit of its goals, KalDer has formed strategic collaborations. Examples of these collaborations include the partnership between KalDer and TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association) in 1993, as well as the collaboration between KalDer and the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) in 1993. Additionally, since 1998, KalDer has been involved in activities such as the National Quality Movement, aiming to spread the 3 concept of quality in all aspects of human life. KalDer has organized quality-based training programs and published various books and magazines.
