It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 21-22).Ormanspor 1971 yılında Ankara’da kurulmuş spor kulübüdür. Devlet politikası gereği kurumların Türk sporuna katkı yapması ve bünyesinde barındırdığı çalışanların yaşam kalitesini arttırma amaçlı kurulmuştur. Kurulduğu tarihten itibaren futbol, basketbol, voleybol, jimnastik, güreş ve okçuluk branşlarında boy göstermiştir. Yaklaşık 10 senelik tecrübenin ardından güreş, okçuluk ve jimnastik branşlarında istenilen katılımın elde edilememesi sebebiyle ilerleyen yıllarda futbol, basketbol ve voleybolda boy göstermeye devam etmiştir. Başta amatör bir ruhla kurulmuş olan kulüp, ilerleyen yıllarda üst liglere yükselerek profesyonelliğe adım atmıştır. Çeşitli branşlarda boy gösteren Ormanspor, basketboldaki tahmin edilemeyen ilerlemenin sonucunda son 20 senede basketbola ağırlık vermiştir. 1971 yılından günümüze kadar Türk basketboluna sayısız oyuncu ve antrenör yetiştirmenin yanı sıra, son yıllarda kadın basketbol takımıyla ülkemizi Avrupa’da temsil etme başarısı göstermiştir. Amatörlükten profesyonelliğe geçişteki bu süreçte önemli başarılar elde eden Ormanspor, günümüzde Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray ve Beşiktaş’tan sonra kadın ve erkek takımları basketbol süper liginde boy gösteren 4. kulüp olma özelliğini taşımaktadır.Ormanspor is a sports club established in 1971 in ankara. It was established in accordance with the state policy for institutions to contribute to turkish sports and to increase the quality of lives of its employees. Since its establishment, it has appeared in branches of football, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling and archery. After about 10 years of experience, it continued to appear in football, basketball and volleyball in the following years due to the desired participation in wrestling, archery and gymnastics was not achieved. Established with an amateur spirit, the club stepped into professionalism in the following years by rising to the top leagues. Ormanspor, which shows up in various branches, has focused on basketball in the last 20 years as a result of the unpredictable progress in basketball. In addition to training numerous players and trainers for turkish basketball since 1971, it has succeeded in representing our country in europe with its women's basketball team in recent years.
