It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Dönemin sayılı kadın milletvekillerinden olan Aliye Temuçin’in aktif siyaset sahnesinde dikkat çektiği konular, dönemin siyasal ve sosyal bağlamı ve Aliye Temuçin’in öğretmen kimliği de göz önünde bulundurularak değerlendirilecektir. Ayrıca siyasi kimliğinin, Temuçin’in özel hayatındaki etkilerinin gözlemlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır.Within the scope of this research, the contributions of Aliye Temuçin, the Democrat Party's 10th Term Member of Parliament for Ankara, to women's, children's, and teachers' rights in Turkey will be examined. The issues that Aliye Temuçin, one of the few female parliamentarians of the period, brought attention to on the active political stage will be evaluated, taking into account the political and social context of the time as well as Temuçin's identity as a teacher.
