It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Çocukluk yıllarındaki deneyimleri ve müzik kariyerine adım atma motivasyonları, yaptığımız röportajlardan yola çıkılarak anlatılmıştır. Pentagram’daki kariyeri, dönemin müzik kültürüyle karşılaştırılarak ele alınmış; aldıkları tepkiler ve karşılaştıkları zorluklar tartışılmıştır. Gazete arşivleri kullanılarak metal müziğe yönelik ilk tepkiler aktarılmıştır. Sanlısoy’un Pentagram’dan ayrılıp solo kariyerine başlaması ve “Saydım” şarkısının önemi incelenmiş, Sonuç kısmında ise Ogün Sanlısoy’un müzik dünyasına mirası değerlendirilmiştir.In this study, Ogün Sanlısoy’s life and the dynamics of the music scene during his era were examined. His experiences during childhood and his motivations for embarking on a music career were explained based on the interviews we conducted. His career in Pentagram was discussed, with comparisons made to the dominant music culture of the time. The reactions they received and the challenges they faced were analyzed. Newspaper archives were used to reflect the public’s initial reactions to metal music. Sanlısoy’s departure from Pentagram and the significance of his solo career and the song “Saydım” were also examined.
