It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Mehmet Sarban’ın harekât öncesi hayatı, askerlik dönemi ve harekât sonrası hayatı, araştırmanın ana ve alt başlıklarında önemli bir yer kaplamıştır. Bununla birlikte, çalışmada Mehmet Sarban’ın röportajını desteklemek ve oradan elde edilen verileri güçlendirmek adına Kıbrıs Barış Harekâtı hakkında yapılan araştırmalar sonucunda bulunan makalelerden bilgiler yer almıştır. Bu noktada, Kıbrıs Barış Harekâtı’nın evreleri; harekât öncesi Kıbrıs, harekât sırasında Kıbrıs ve harekât sonrası Kıbrıs olmak üzere üç ana başlıkta incelenmiştir.In this study, Mehmet Sarban, who participated in the Cyprus Peace Operation on July 20, 1974, and received the title of veteran, was investigated. Mehmet Sarban's life before the operation, his military service period, and his life after the operation have occupied an important place in the main and subheadings of the research. Additionally, in order to support Mehmet Sarban's interview and strengthen the data obtained from there, information from articles resulting from research on the Cyprus Peace Operation has been included.
