It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 16-17).Bu projede 1955 yılında kurulmaya başlanan Maarif Kolejlerinin 1970 yılında açılan uzantısı, Bursa Maarif Koleji’nin, günümüz adıyla Bursa Anadolu Lisesi’nin, 1970 yılından günümüze kadarki süreçte sergilediği akademik, sportif ve kültürel başarıların neler olduğu ve başlıca sebepleri araştırıldı. Kurulduğu dönemden bu yana Bursa’nın en gözde lisesi olarak görülen Bursa Anadolu Lisesi mezunlarının başarılı hayat öyküleri ve mezunlarla yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda bu başarılar üzerinde Bursa Anadolu Lisesi’nin eğitiminin ve olanaklarının payı incelendi. Bursa Anadolu Lisesi’nin öneminin anlaşılması adına okulun tarihi; “Kısaca Bursa Anadolu Lisesi tarihçesi”, “sosyal ilişkiler”, “disiplin anlayışı”, “akademik başarılar”, “sosyal ve kültürel etkinlikler”, “siyasi olaylar”, ünlü mezunları ve mezunlar derneği” ve “anılar” olmak üzere 9 ana başlık altında incelenmiştir.Scope of this research is to investigate the Bursa Maarif College which is continuation of Maarif Colleges that started to be established in 1955 and now under the name of Bursa Anadolu High School thatfounded in 1970. There search contains the achievements and their major reasons of the school in education, sports and culture since 1970. Also investigated the benefits of Bursa Anadolu High School’s education and opportunities for their student according to the meetings with graduates and success story of them.
