It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. Yıldız İbrahimova, ismini dünyaya duyurmayı başarabilmiş Türk asıllı Bulgar bir caz sanatçısıdır. 1952 yılında Bulgaristan’ın Silistre şehrinde dünyaya gözlerini açan İbrahimova, müzikle küçük yaştan itibaren iç içeydi. Sofya Devlet Müzik Akademisi’nin opera bölümünü birincilikle bitiren Yıldız İbrahimova, kariyerine caz müziği ile devam etti. 1980’lerde Bulgar Türklerine dayatılan isim değişikliği sebebiyle birçok problemle karşı karşıya kalmasına rağmen İbrahimova başarılı bir kariyere sahip oldu. Önemli caz festivallerine katıldı ve dünyanın birçok yerinde konser verdi. Bu araştırmada yapılan sözlü röportajdan yararlanarak, Yıldız İbrahimova’nın doğumundan günümüze hayat hikayesi anlatılmıştır. İbrahimova’nın hayat hikayesi, 1980’lerde Türk asıllı Bulgarların yaşadığı zorluklara ışık tutmakla beraber, Yıldız İbrahimova'nın caz dünyasındaki önemini de anlatmaktadır.Jazz music is a genre of music created by African-American communities in the United States of America in the twentieth century and holds an important place in the modern music world, as it includes many techniques different from classical music. Yıldız İbrahimova is a Bulgarian jazz artist of Turkish origin who has managed to make a name for herself. İbrahimova, who opened her eyes to the world in the city of Silistre in Bulgaria in 1952, was intertwined with music from an early age. Yıldız İbrahimova, who graduated from Sofia State Music Academy with first place in opera, continued her career with jazz music. Despite facing many problems due to the name-changing policy imposed on Bulgarian Turks in the 1980s, İbrahimova had a successful career. She participated in important jazz festivals and gave concerts in many parts of the world. Based on the oral interview made in this research, the life story of Yıldız İbrahimova from her birth to the present has been told.
