It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 15-16).Türkiye 1980 yılına yaklaşırken ekonomik anlamda birçok sıkıntıyla karşılaştı. Bunun sonucu olarak Türkiye 24 Ocak 1980 ekonomik kararları adı altında bazı ekonomik tedbirler aldı. Bu tedbirler ülkeyi genel anlamda olumlu etkilese de bazı ekonomik ve sosyal sorunlarla da karşılaştı. Bu olumlu ve olumsuz sonuçlardan etkilenenlerden biri de Yücel GÜLCÜ oldu. Bu çalışmada da Yücel GÜLCÜ özelinde 24 Ocak 1980 kararlarının etkileri, 1980 öncesi ve sonrası da göz önünde bulundurularak incelendi.Turkey faced many ordeals in economic approaches to 1980.
