It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 14).Bu araştırma, Türk akademisyen, sosyolog, düşünür, yazar ve çevirmen olan Ulus Baker’i konu almaktadır. Baker’in hayatı, eserleri, sosyoloji ve felsefe alanına katkıları ve kendini diğer düşünürlerden farklı kılan özellikleri ele alınmıştır. Bu doğrultuda; Ulus Baker ile alakalı Ulus Baker’i Okumak adında kitap derleyen, Baker’in Siyasal Dilde Huzur Söylemi tezini çeviren, Cogito Felsefe Dergisi’nde Ulus Baker’in Spinoza Pratiği adında makale yazan, ölümünün onuncu yılında onun anısına düzenlenen serginin küratörlüğünü üstlenen ve Ulus Baker araştırması için yaklaşık 50 kişiyle görüşen öğretim görevlisi Onur Eylül Kara ile röportaj yapılmıştır.This study aims to investigate Turkish academician, sociologist, writer and translator. Ulus Baker. Baker's life, contributions to the field of sociology and philosophy, and features that make him different from other thinkers are discussed. In this direction, an interview was made with Onur Eylül Kara who compiled a book called "Ulus Baker’i Okumak" and interviewed about 50 people about Ulus Baker.
