Boson-fermion mixtures are recently of particular attention because of their relevance in some high-Tc superconductivity theories. In this work we study the correlation effects in a two-component boson-fermion mixture using the self-consistent field method of Singwi, Tosi, Land, and Sjolander (STLS). We investigate the role played by the statistical effects and Coulomb correlations in a model with different boson and fermion mass ratios. The ground-state structure factors and collective excitation modes are determined through the self-consistent scheme.EnglishCorrelation effects in boson-fermion plasmasArticle1764-7177
