It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 15-16).Bu makale, azınlıkta kalan dini gruplardan biri olan Yehova Şahitlerinin Türkiye’deki durumu ve faaliyetleri hakkında detaylı bilgi verecektir. 1931’de kuruluşundan bu yana Türkiye’de kabul edilme süreçleri, hukuki süreçleri, Türkiye’de yayılmaları ve misyonerlik faaliyetlerine dair bilgilendirme yapacaktır. İnançları gereği özellikle 1980’lerde çeşitli zorluklar yaşayan Yehova Şahitleri, birçok dava görmüş ve hepsini kazanmıştır. Bu davalardan birkaçı hem röportajla desteklenerek incelenmiştir. Kan vermenin ve almanın dinlerince yasak olmasına değinilmiş ve tedavileri hakkındaki yaşadıkları zorluklardan bahsedilmiştir.This article will give detailed information about the situation and the activities of Jehova’s Witnesses, a religious minority group in Turkey. Information will be given about their acceptance process, their legal process, their spread, and missionary activities in Turkey since their foundation in 1931. Jehovah's Witnesses, who experienced various difficulties due to their beliefs, especially in the 1980s, have gone through many lawsuits and won all of them. A few of these cases were examined with the support of interviews.
