It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bunun üzerine Türkiye ve diğer ülkelerden vatandaşlar Almanya’ya çalışmak için göç etmiştir. Bu makalede Almanya’ya geçici işçi sıfatı ile giden Ahmet Karadağ’ın göç etmeye nasıl karar verdiği, misafir işçi programına nasıl kaydolduğu, Almanya'ya gidiş sürecinde yaşadığı zorluklar ve oraya adapte olma sürecinde zorluk yaşayıp yaşamadığı sorularına cevap aranmıştır. Almanya'daki çalışma hayatının nasıl olduğu, ekonomik ve sosyal olarak Almanya'da bulunmaktan memnun olup olmadığı konusu üzerinde durulacaktır. Ahmet Karadağ’ın Almanya'ya ne zaman ve nasıl geldiği, neden emeklilikte Türkiye'de yaşamayı neden seçtiği açıklanacaktır.In the aftermath of World War II, Germany, grappling with a labor shortage, saw its government of the time propose the engagement of guest workers to fulfill the need for labor. This led to citizens from Turkey and numerous other countries migrating to Germany for work. This study investigates the decision-making process of Ahmet Karadağ in choosing to migrate, his enrollment in the guest worker program, the challenges he faced during the migration process to Germany, and whether he encountered difficulties in adapting there. The paper also focuses on his work life in Germany, and his satisfaction with his economic and social circumstances while residing in Germany.
