Muradiye Foundation established in Ankara in 1978 with the contributions of Mustafa Kalfaoğlu and his wife Müşerref Kalfaoğlu. First of all, the Foundation made efforts to take steps toward education, which is one of the main problems felt in Turkey. Over time, the Muradiye Foundation has reached a size that can provide financial resources to thousands of children. There are politically difficult periods in this process. While first the September 12, 1980 coup d'état and then the events of February 28 rapidly changed the country's political agenda, they also left significant effects on the course of social institutions such as foundations and associations. In this research, the events of the Muradiye Foundation during these periods, its relations with the changing governments of the period, and the motivation of the Foundation will be discussed.TurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikeMustafa KalfaoğluVakıfMuradiyeİslamAnkaraFoundationBir vakıf hikâyesi: Muradiye Vakfı’nın kuruluşuStudent ProjectSPB4286
