The Masnavi's were initially written before the Ottomans, during the Anadolu Feudal Period, and later relayed through the enriched translations from Persian. The paper concentrates on the parallelism of these with knighthood novels and the love portrayed. Also, the social references to the medieval love models and the love for lineage or the prince portrayed in love masnavis was studied.TurkishOttoman-Turkish literatureMedieval literatureIşknameLove masnavisPrinces' loveFictional styleKnighthoodLove modelsLitterature ottomano-turqueLitterature medievaleMesnevis d'amourAmour des princesFictionAmour courtoisModele d'amourOsmanlı-Türk edebiyatında aşk mesnevilerini şövalye aşkı bağlamında okumakA reading of the love Masnavı's of Ottoman-Turkish literature within the context of knighthood loveLire les mesnevıs d' amour Ottomano-Turcs a la maniere de l'amour courtoisArticle
